What to expect during an appointment with Jaedon

Time spent to get to know YOU

Your physiotherapy session will start with your physiotherapist welcoming you at the door, guiding you to the treatment room, and discussing the reasons for your visit and how we can assist you most effectively. You can anticipate that your physiotherapist will thoroughly explore your symptoms, medical history, goals, and the best ways to support your needs.

Detailed physiotherapy assessment

The assessment is to help figure out your baseline and allows us to figure out the problem areas. During the assessment we will go through your subjective history and physical examination where we will be looking at the specific areas of concern as well as related areas connected.

Diagnosis

At the conclusion of the assessment, we will discuss the findings and explain the nature of your injury. At this point we will go over the recommended interventions that have your goals in mind.

Intervention

During the appointment, we will discuss recommended physiotherapy interventions that can be found here, along with an explanation of how this will help your recovery. Together we will come up with a personalized treatment plan that may include exercises, lifestyle changes, or referral to other healthcare practitioners if needed.

Education

At the end of your session your physiotherapist will conference with you. He will help you understand what was found in the assessment, why we chose the intervention and exercises, and how this will help your recovery.
